I am trying to find any information on my Great Grandfather, Elizah PLUNKETT, who was married to a ECKERT or ACCORD. My Grandfather, David Watt PLUNKETT was born in Merom, In. 22 Feb 1868; died 3 Mar 1939, buried in New Lebanon, In. Married to Rose Ella WALKER, born 27 Nov. 1871; died 24 July 1918, burried New Lebanon. Most of their children were born in the Palestine, Crawford, Ill. area. He was a tenant farmer and they seem to have moved often to either side of the Wabash River.

Seek ancestors of both Nathan Alfred ROBINSON (b 1865, d 1918) and Lillie PRICKETT (b ?, d 1905). They were married 30 June 1886 and were living in Crawford County, IL when a daughter Dolly ROBINSON was born ca 1887. Dolly married Thomas John KENNEDY 27 March 1905.

I am looking for info on the Nathan Stlvanius HUNT, born 12 May 1842 at Independence, Jackson, Mo. He is the son of William A. HUNT and Margaret TIMMINS. Nathan married 2 Sep 1869 at Jasper, Ill., Missouri E. ALLISON, born 22 Mar 1849 at Crawford, Lawrence, Ill. She is the daughter of Andrew ALLISON and Mary EMMONS. If anyone out there can help me with these families I would greatly appreciate it.

Looking for information on Brazilius Bonaparte KINTNER and his wife Louisa LARRABEE. "B. B." or "Briz", as he was known, was born 02 Feb 1873, married 21 Oct 1894 in Crawford County, Illinois, and died 31 Mar 1950 in Oblong, Crawford, Illinois. Louisa was born 07 Apr 1877 and died 26 Apr 1953. I am interested in details about their lives. They had a home north of Oblong, close to Dogwood,(it is still standing, I believe) and a home in town on North Range. What did Briz do for a living? My grandfather, Daniel Lee KINTNER, was their son.

I am searching for descenants of David Washington ODELL. He was a founder of Oblong Illinois in Crawford County. I'm trying to discover who his parents were. He was born in N. Carolina in 1811-13. He moved to Indiana where he married Agnes ARNETT in 1832. He was a J.P. in Indiana until he left for Crawford Co. IL around 1850. He had 4 children: Elizabeth, William Jasper, and Shadrach H.. Shadrach and Jasper were farmers around Oblong. I would like to hear from anyone who knows of these people, or of any documents related to them. Shadrach had a son: David Washington ODELL II who with his brother Dennis founded the Bank in Oblong around 1900. I would like to hear from anyone who knows how I might locate early records of the Oblong Oracle newpaper.

Looking for information on Heman N. SELLARS, who was listed on the 1870 Illinois Census living in Crawford County, Oblong Township. Heman and his family moved from Decatur County Indiana, being listed in the 1850 and 1860 census living in Adams Township. Heman and his family left Crawford County and was living in Clark County Anderson Township at the time of his death on September 4, 1972. His wife Phylema passed on September 9, 1875. I am looking for Birth Records, or Marriage record information for Heman's family. I am also looking for land record information on the family.
