I am looking for information on the EBERMEN/EVERMAN/EVERMON/ EVERMOND family. William EBERMAN got a land patent for 80 acers in 1823 in Crawford Co, around EVERMON'S Mound. My greatgrandmother was a descendent of this line. I think her father was Andrew EVERMAN who married Elizabeth WALL. Minerva EVERMEN was born in Cumberland Co, IL abt 1839. Any information to verify this would be helpful. Thanks. K. Russell I have a few Crawford Co Everman marriages: Andrew EVERMAN m Elizabeth WALL 1825 5-15; Mary EVERMAN m. Thomas WALL 1828 6-25; Ezekial EVERMAN m. Ann HACKNEY 1841 7-1. The rest of my EVERMAN's are married in Jasper Co.

I would like to have Micham MAIN and Elizabeth VAN_WINKLE marriage certificate if it is possible. The year 1820 is probably right and Crawford Co., Ill the location. I am a member of the Anderson County Historical Commission and my research is the M. MAIN mentioned. He was the early pioneer her in this county and helped lay out the town of Palestine, Texas and named it for his hometown of Palestine Illinois. A Texas Historical Marker has been planned in his honor of being one of the founders of Palestine,TX. Please help, or guide me to someone that can. I have enough information to write the narrative, but need to have the marriage certificate to varify his age if it has been recorded on it.

I am looking for information on my Grandparents, Robert Thomas ROWE and Dollie Irene DOTY Rowe. They lived in Robinson, Il. for years. Robert Thomas ROWE was an oil field worker. Dollie's parents were William Marshall DOTY and Cora Lily ROSE they also resided in Robinson, Crawford Co., Il. Robt. and Dollie are buried in Flat Rock Cem. Hope to make connections with other family members.

Still searching for information about my ancestors who lived near Hardinville, Crawford County. One of my aunts lived in Crawford County for almost all her life. Her names was Mary Etta HOWELL GOOD. Her obit states she was from a family of 10 children. I do have an account of 5 of the children. Would like to locate them and find out what happened to these 5 children. Have found Martha Ellen, Ada, MaDanie, Elmer, and Mary Etta. Does anyone know anything else about Mary Etta's brothers and sisters?

William EVERMAN b. abt 1760 Va, migrated to Crawford co Ill around 1820,from Montgomery co KY, had a land patent for 80 acres in 1823, EVERMON's Mound. I'm trying to find out who his wife was. I have three names. The confusion may be, his nephew William EVERMAN was also in the area for a few years before moving on to Indiana. Also an Joseph EBERMAN was in a nearby co in 1810, 1818 census records. Wifes may be Margaret FRENCH? or Charity? LDS family hx cd's just list Mrs. EVERMAN b. KY abt 1788. William's child Andrew EVERMAN b. 1808 Montgomery co KY m. Elizabeth WALL b. 1810 NC, 1828 Crawford, (Palestine)co Ill. Elizabeths parents were Peter Wall b. abt 1770 SC, d.abt 1835 Crawford co Ill. m. Mary Mize in Va. Andrew EVERMAN d. 1844 Crawford co Ill. Elizabeth married Randall, age 77 DEAVENPORT 1848 Bond co Ill. They can be found in the 1850 Bond co census. I have other information on EVERMAN children as well as back to 1670 on EVERMAN's. I have different information on thethen found on the LDS CD, as verified by death cert, marriage records, and census data.

CROUCH/ HIGGINS I am looking for the marraige record or even actual document for the marriage of Elihu CROUCH and Charity HIGGINS. I know they were married December 6, 1840 in Crawford County, Illinois. I also know that Elihu CROUCH was listed as Elihu CORNWELL, why I don't know. I need to know who gave permission for Elihu to be married. Or if there is an actual marraige record, who was listed as Elihu CROUCH (CORNWELL) parents, if available. Searching for info on Barbara TAYLOR who died in Crawford Co.12 Jan. 1914. She was born in Virginia, c 1828, migrated to Champaign Co. Ohio area. She married Samson TAYLOR, son of John TAYLOR Jr. 18 June 1846, probably in Champaign Co. Ohio, before they migrated to Crawford Co. Where was she born? Who were her parents, and siblings? Family history tells us that Barbara and Samson were not related prior to their marriage. Appreciate any help.

Looking for information about William TAYLOR and Rebecca MILLER TAYLOR. They emigrated to Crawford County about 1865-68 from Stark County, Ohio. Children were Lewis Franklin and Daniel TAYLOR. William TAYLOR died soon after coming to Illinois and Rebecca TAYLOR married Jacob HIGERT OR HIGERD about 1868. Lewis TAYLOR was a teacher in the rural schools of Crawford County and died about 1930. Rebecca MILLER TAYLOR was born in Stark County, Ohio in 1834. Her parents were Daniel and Leanna SHANK MILLER.

I am looking for information on my great grandmother, Laura B. HURST (married name CARLTON). The information I have is that she was born in Crawford County, Illinois on 9/25/1848. Her mother's name was Martha HURST and her father's name was Spencer HURST. She married William CARLTON in New Orleans on 12/10/1865, and died on 4/1/1918 in San Antonio,Texas and is supposedly buried there. She had thirteen children, one of whom is my grandmother, Edna Mae CARLTON (b.2/27/1885). I can get names of her other children. I also have a picture of her. I would like a birth certificate, full names of parents, or any other information available.
