Looking for information about my great grandparents, Robert Lesson (Lawson) ROBINSON (1852-1931) and his wife Carrie A? and their relatives. They had several children, Ethel,(my grandmother), Amos, Fred Martin, Glenn, and Rose. Ethel's first two children, Russell and Myrtle Paulina (my mother), were born in Robinson, IL, the second two (Olas, Melvin) in Newman, IL. I know nothing of Carrie's parentage or surname but I know that Robert Lesson (Lawson) ROBINSON was the son of Martin ROBINSON 1822-1909 and Eliza Jane BONWELL 1825-1912. Martin and Eliza had these children: Oretta, Maria, John, Robert Lesson, Orrell, Lucretia, Milia, James, Joseph, Sarah, Irvin. Martin's father was Joseph Edgar Robinson (no other information). Any knowledge of the history of the ROBINSON family or Carrie, or Eliza Jane BONWELL would be appreciated.
