Clara was my paternal grandmother, who married Benjamin Otto COOPER. Clara & Benjamin (known as Ott) raised their family Walnut Prairie and later Danville, IL, Berea, OH & Wellington, OH.

Looking for further information on Gabriel FUNK who was an early pioneer of Crawford County, Illinois. Looking for verification that Julia FUNK, born 1822 in Crawford County and who married Marshall MURPHY in Crawford County in 1839, was the daughter of Gabriel FUNK. Would also like to hear from others who have FUNK and MURPHY ancestors who lived in Crawford County, Illinois in the 1800's. Marshall MURPHY and Julia FUNK were my husband's great-grandparents.

Looking to contact anyone with SEANEY family connections. The SEANEYs were original Crawford County settlers in about 1818. Family moved from Wayne County, Indiana, after living in Rowan County, North Carolina. SEANEY line can be traced back to Owen SEANEY (ca 1720-1771) in Kent County, Delaware.

Looking for anyone else researching the WEGER family in Crawford Co., IL from about 1820 on. Father probably Abraham WEGER, had sons, John, Killis, William, James M. (my ancestor - md. Sally FORD, dau. of John Thomas FORD and Hopestill HIGHSMITH), and Samuel; one daughter, Sarah Ann, md. McCORKLE. Know that Abraham's wife was Joycy FORD of TN. Would love to know how she is related to the other FORD families in Crawford Co. If anyone has any information, please contact me.

Am looking for information on the possible connection between the immigrant Christian WINEMAN (immigrated about 1770) and my gg-grandfather, Jonathan WINEMAN, son of Wiley WINEMAN and Martha CARTER. Also would like to contact anyone researching the WIMAN name in Crawford Co., as I believe these are one and the same family. I am looking for information on Robert TERRELL and his wife Martha Ann STRANGE Terrell. Robert and Martha married in Garrard Co, KY on 12 April 1836. Martha is the daughter of Washington and Mary COPELIN. Martha's brother John B Strange married Mary FORD in Crawford Co in 1849. I believe Robert Terrell is from Henry Co, KY originally. He moved to Crawford Co ca 1839. Martha died on June 1873 and Robert remmaried Martha GRIMES. When Robert Terrell died in 1891 his will only list 2 of his 8 children. I am willing to share info on Robert Terrell or Martha Strange.

</B> I am serching for information on Benjamin TERRELL and his wife Emily WEGER. Benjamin is the son of Robert Terrell and Martha STRANGE. Emily is the daughter of Achilles (Killis) WEGER and Mary SANDERS. Benjamin Terrell was born in Crawford Co ca 1848. Emily was born in Crawford Co in 1848. They married on 7 January 1869. They had at least 7 childen, 6 living to adulthood. The family disappeared after the 1880 census. I believe they moved to OK. In 1913 When Mary's sister Lucinda Weger died in 1913, her obituary stated she had a sister living. When their daughter Mary (Mollie) Terrell APGAR died in 1939 in OK, 4 of her siblings were living in OK.

HOCKMAN, Judith or Julia, b. ca 1832 in IL, m. George W. ROUTT, 22 Jan 1858/divorced 6 Sep 1860 in Lawrence Co., died 22 Oct 1873, in Lawrence Co. After the divorce she married Smiley Sumner. Her child from ROUTT marriage was Emery Birtus ROUTT m. Alice May Fitch. At least one child from Sumner marriage: Emmma who m. a Boward. Any help on her parents and/or siblings would be appreciated.
